Guest Writing/Posting are how we build our audience and connect to people who we did not know exist up until the point they decided to be a guest writer.
This is not a new concept, Goinswriter stated: “Guest posting” means writing and publishing an article on someone else’s website or blog. I offer this on my own site (occasionally) and do it quite a bit on other blogs with audiences that I want to speak to. It’s a great way to connect with new readers and get your name out”.
It is really simple to become a guest writer for Sisters In Height. Here are some things we request:
Firstly, write content that is related to being a female and more specifically being a tall female.
Be creative in finding ways to tie your message to our community of followers. We are flexible and will work with you.
New to writing or uncertain of what to write about?
Do not hesitate to ask for topics and maybe you can do some research to come up with a stellar article. According to Quicksprout, consumers like content that feels like a story.
Secondly, be genuine so your readers get to know you and what you are all about.
The expectation is that you are tastefully staying true to your writing style rather it is funny, sarcastic, or facts driven only.
Thirdly, in your article don’t forget to introduce yourself and add a link to your website, eliminating them having to do a google search to find you.
Some of the things I look for in articles are:
#1 The point or theme
#2 Grammar and spelling errors
#3 Originality – Plagiarism is not tolerated
The article is to be a 300-1000 words and once you start it will be like building a long term relationship!
Refer to our terms and SUBMIT YOUR ARTICLE for review.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
